Loads of toys for children, thoughtful groceries, cosy and warm property, provided firewood and fuel, plenty of home comforts.

    Nothing it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent place. The spacious and quiet atmosphere was perfect for our autistic twin grandchildren. The owner, Bronach, was kind, pleasant, and considerate, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The generous food provisions, including homemade jam and Guinness, were a lovely touch. The comfortable beds, abundance of amenities, and entertainment options made it feel like a home away from home. The proximity to nature and the presence of animals added to the overall charm.

    Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this welcoming lodge. Perfect for families and dog owners, with a secure garden for our Labrador to run around. The host, Bronagh, even let us help look after the chickens! The lodge was well-equipped with basic groceries provided and plenty of home comforts like firewood, fresh bread, homemade jam, and even Guinness. The beds were comfy with spare duvets, and there were lots of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. We enjoyed the selection of books, games, and DVDs, especially for the kids. Bronagh was a wonderful host and her lovely dogs added to the charm. The small garden at the front had gates for safety and there were seating areas both front and back.

    Felt super comfortable, no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay at a great eco cottage with all the amenities we needed. The host, Bronagh, was incredibly welcoming and even provided basic groceries. The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings, while still being close to nearby towns and villages for food and entertainment. Our children and dogs were well accommodated, with a secure garden for our dog to play in. We also loved helping take care of the chickens. We will definitely be returning!

    Nothing everything was great! 😊

The property was spacious and all on one level, making it easy to navigate. The owner, Bronach, was welcoming and left a lovely welcome pack with vegetarian and vegan options. The location was convenient for visiting family and had a safe, secure garden for our dog.

Felt like home, with personalized attention and nothing was too much trouble.

The cottage was filled with toys, books, and DVDs, which kept the kids entertained. The woodburning stove in the living space added a cozy touch. The location of the cottage was perfect, nestled in the countryside but still a short drive to Belfast city. being just a 7-minute drive away from the Ulster Transport Museum and the Ulster Folk Museum was a great advantage.

The taxi service to and from the location was quite expensive, and some drivers struggled to find the property. The modern heating system in the cottage was a bit noisy and disturbed sleep.

Great value for money with clean and comfortable beds, spacious accommodation, and a welcoming host who went the extra mile for children. The natural and calm setting added to the overall warmth and generosity of the stay. Plus, the added touches like fresh milk, homemade bread, and staple groceries made settling in a breeze.

Menu for breakfast could benefit from some variety or additional options.

Spacious and quiet for autistic twins. Owner was considerate and generous. Great communication and smooth arrival. Thoughtful groceries and doggy treat. Cosy, organised and clean house. Complete kitchen and amazing bedrooms. Lovely eco cottage with all amenities. Close proximity to towns but quiet.

    Nothing, no complaints at all.

The value for money at Hilltop Lodge was exceptional, with incredibly comfortable beds and spacious, welcoming accommodation. The location was calm and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was warm, friendly, and great with children, adding special touches to make us feel right at home.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from some improvement, perhaps by adding a few more options or variations to cater to different tastes.

Upon arriving at Hilltop Lodge, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The cottage was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including firewood and fuel for the stove. The fresh bread, butter, milk, homemade jam, and even Guinness provided by the host. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were extra duvets and bedlinen available in case it got chilly. I also appreciated the abundance of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The selection of books, games, and DVDs provided added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The small garden at the front was a peaceful spot to relax, and the swing ball provided some fun entertainment. The property's dog-friendly policy was a huge plus, and my furry friends loved watching Bronach's hens and ducks in the adjacent field. The location of Hilltop Lodge was convenient for visiting nearby towns and villages, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend Hilltop Lodge for a relaxing and cozy getaway.
